America's favorite singing cowboy, Gene Autry, comes to the aid of injured jockey Ted Malloy (Johnny Duncan) in this classic Western adventure directed by John English. When a wild steed runs off with Gene's swift mare, he and sidekick Droopy Stearns (Sterling Holloway) go after the two horses. Spotting them from an airplane, Gene and Droopy attempt to recapture them so Malloy can ride the mare in a big upcoming race.
