Apologies for the shake and wind noise! This bear is ambling across the tundra and passed our vehicle. It looks like he/she has been lying/napping in the kelp beds from the reddish color on the fur. Also, the black marking on the back fur was placed by conservation officers indicating that the bear has been tagged and inspected by researchers. The mark is to identify the bear to conservation helicopter pilots. This bear does not look as well fed and chubby as some of the others!
